Pusat penjagaan warga emas chan
Pusat Penjagaan Warga Emas Chan was established in May 2015. Its goal is to help provide shelter and care for the elders who have no one to depend on and who get abandoned in the hospital where they can spend their remaining lifetime more peacefully and comfortably. Elders who are from single families or who have no one to depend on will be their first priority in taking them in.
LIGHTHOUSE WORKSHOP
We have a lighthouse workshop to promote the well-being of people through sharing and healing by the MPU Students! The workshop includes art therapy activity and active listening skills to help participants and people around them! The event was held on the 30th of September 2020 (12:00 PM- 1.15 PM).
gIFTING FOR A FRIEND
In conjunction with the mid-autumn festival, we held an event “Gifting For A Friend” which is a mystery virtual room which can be accessed via a google form link. The link was available from 1st of October to the 10th of October on PSG’s Instagram (@psg_help) bio. The virtual room will require participants to solve a mystery and each choice they made would eventually result in whether they successfully solved it or fail their attempt.
mpu - sENIOR HEALTH
Since GoG is raising funds to an Olf Folks Home, the MPU students came up with Informative Workshop talking about senior health. This workshop, we’re partnering with Managedcare a company who coordinates various health care and long-term care services. The speaker of the workshop is by Ms Gayathri Davandran who is a senior registered nurse serving for 10 years in the field. The workshop is held on the 21st of October from 12:30-1:30 PM via Microsoft Teams.
